Welcome to the AFP - Nashville

Established in 1976

The Association for Finance Professionals (AFP) - Nashville is a not for profit professional organization dedicated to providing its members with a forum for topics such as finance, cash management, investments, economic issues, cash forecasting, and banking.

AFP - Nashville is your connection to the latest trends in treasury and financial management. Our monthly meetings and annual full day seminar allow you access to best practices, networking opportunities, continuing education, professional development opportunities, and more.

We are facing unprecedented times with the advent of COVID-19 and requirements for social distancing due to health and safety concerns.  It is for that reason, we’ve elected to hold all monthly meetings virtually for now.  Our online meetings are convenient, informative and deliver relevant content to help your business sustain, recover and thrive.  Take a moment to register for them now!

AFP has provided a resource  center to help us during this time.  Please visit www.afponline.org for updated information.

Members Only Benefit!  Save the Date - February 3rd!

Nashville AFP has been invited to attend the Treasury Innovation Northeast Symposium taking place on Wednesday, February 3rd.  This event is being produced by TMANY in conjunction with 4 other regional AFP chapters in the Northeast: New England AFP, Philadelphia AFP, Pittsburgh AFP and AFP of Western New York.  They are super excited to bring a new event to the treasury community.  And we’d like to share in this event by offering our members the chance to participate at no cost as a membership benefit.

This 1-day event is an awards program where we will be recognizing and hearing from 3 outstanding treasury organizations for their innovations in 2020. In addition, we will have 2 keynote speakers talking about Innovation:

  • Steve Rullo - Chief Information Officer, GE Capital, Global Operations & Finance, GE
  • Nick Thomas - Co-Founder, President & Chief Innovation Officer, Finicity

They will be broadcasting this on Zoom Webinar and will run the show from beginning (first session at 9:30 am EST) to end with a variety of additional content provided during the breaks and finishing the day off with a virtual networking event.

Nashville AFP is providing this at no cost to its members .    An email will be sent to our members to be able to register.  Non-members are welcome to attend and can register at https://tiny.cc/tins-registration.  The cost is $125.00 for the 5+ sessions.  Approved for 6 CTP/FP&A Credits.
